Anne Quito is a journalist and design critic based in New York City. A staff reporter at Quartz, her beat underscores the design angle of current events and business news. She wrote “Mag Men: Fifty Years of Making Magazines” (Columbia University Press), a book about the glory days of magazine design as told by graphic design legends Milton Glaser and Walter Bernard. Her writing also appears on CNN, The Atlantic, Architectural Digest, Town and Country, Metropolis, and Design Observer. She is the first recipient of the Steven Heller Prize for Cultural Commentary.
